Historic monument or place to visit in METZ, on the theme(s) Military interest, awarded with the Label Listed historic monument (MH).
It owes its name to the Teutonic Knights or Hospitaller Brothers of Our Lady of the Germans, who founded a hospital nearby as early as the 13th century. It is the most imposing remaining building of the medieval ramparts, both a double gate and a bridge over the Seille. The circuit of the ramparts allows you to discover the remains of the fortifications of the city of Metz.
