In the Nied region, the family farm has become La Grange de Condé, a landmark with a superb hotel, magnificent themed rooms, big terrace and restaurant-rotisserie where Jean-Marie Visilit and his tireless wife Virginie officiate with generosity and talent. This inn, considered France's best in 2004, offers products from the rich surrounding terroir, frogs in cream à la Boulay, suckling pig from the Diesen farm, cheese from the Elvange dairy, free-range cockerels and genuine Lorraine charcuterie. The menus are mouth-watering, the wine list takes you on a trip through the vineyards and the service is friendly.
